Port St Lucie to Sarasota, Fl February 2010
After living on a 21' sailboat for a stint, a larger boat was in order. A queen sized bed, an electric toilet and a big fridge were priorities. Weeks of craigslisting brought Yasha to Port Saint Lucie to look at the 1981 34' Mainship Resolution. Every inch of wood on the boat had been chewed up by termites. We had too much time and not much money and a deal was struck. We returned to PSL with an 8 horse outboard and brought her home through the locks, across Lake Okeechobie and up the Gulf of Mexico to Bradenton, Fl.
